Johnny Blade has been playing guitar for over 30 years, and has been teaching guitar for over 20 years. Johnny earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance from DePaul University School of Music, Chicago, IL. and an Encore Program Certificate from Musician's Institute, Hollywood, CA
Johnny Blade currently plays lead guitar in heavy metal band NightSword, Ozzy tribute band OzzMania, Black Sabbath tribute Wicked Sabbath, Kelle Rhoads Band, The Young Royals, Sonia Harley, and is a frequent performer at the world famous Whisky A-GoGo's Ultimate Jam Night, and Randy Rhoads Remembered concert series
